Facebook Will Now Pay Users For Their Voice Recordings

The users can now get paid for their voice recordings on Facebook, and it is a new offer on social media. The Facebook team will use the voice recording to develop and enhance their speech detection feature. It was announced on Thursday (21-02-2020) as other popular websites, and digital platforms were also using their customers’ voice recordings to improve their voice recognition technology without even informing the users. However, Facebook is not one of them; they recently announced that users would get paid who will partake in their goal to improve its voice recognition feature.

Many world-leading companies like Amazon, Google, Apple, and Microsoft were using their users’ voice recordings without their permissions to improve their services, and this pathetic truth has been a big debate on the social world. Facebook recently declared a new program known as Pronunciations via which users can partake in Facebook’s new campaign. Users who are interested can easily sign up on the Facebook Viewpoint app and then they would be able to participate in the Pronunciations campaign.

You will have to qualify in order to be a participant in the program. Once you are selected, you would need to record dialogue, “Hey Portal” +” first name of your friend from your friends’ list.” The users would be capable of recording this dialogue with up to 10 friends; also, they would have to record every phrase two times.

However, you are not getting thousands of dollars by sending your sweet voice recordings on Facebook, but they have set the criteria of paying users for their recordings. By successfully finishing one set of voice recordings, you will get 200 points in their Viewpoints application. You won’t be able to withdraw these points into cash until you earn a minimum of 1000 points in the app. Once you make 1000 points, they will be translatable into 5 dollars, and you would be able to send them to your bank via PayPal.

Facebook stated that users could complete an entire five sets of recording in order to earn the 5 dollars, and that is possible if users try their best to complete these sets of phrase twice. If you also want to make some pennies to buy some candies, then it is a good chance for you to use your voice power to get paid 5 dollars for five successful sets.

The FB team says that they are keeping users name anonymous in the program of making voice recognition innovation better on their platform. The Viewpoints app activities and actions won’t be linked to your Facebook account or timeline. They have claimed officially that all of the activities will be kept safe and secure as well as private.

This Facebook program called Pronunciations will be only limited to US users, and the users would have to be at least 18 in order to partake. The user willing to participate in this campaign should also have at least 75 friends in the friends’ list. According to the official statement, the program would not be released and shared right away to all users in the US, but Facebook will gradually roll out this new program to the US users. When Pronunciations become available for you, you won’t have to update the app to participate and get notified about the program. Just make sure ViewPoints is installed on your device and also that you have signed up to the app.
