The foundation of SAF was laid by Hero Group which is a leading company of India. The organization is supported by multiple leading firms of the world including TCS, RBL Bank, Viva Goa and many.
Achievements
Though the foundation organizes multiple events, the grand event that has given it fame is SAF festival. It has been celebrating since 2016. It is a grand festival of South Asia organized in Goa every year in December.
Serendipity Arts Festival is a multi-disciplinary arts festival that goes for 8 days, making the Goa city more exciting and vibrant. Every year, the event is curated by a panel of eminent artists where volunteers from multiple fields take part to make the event successful. It is a long-term cultural project that hopes to bring positive changes in the arts of India by encouraging artists.
The festival focuses on encouraging the artwork that people are forgetting with times. It also focuses on patronage culture, inter disciplinary discourse, and accessibility to the arts.
Talking about Serendipity Arts Festival 2017, it was a grand event featured over 70 projects from the field of arts, dance, music, culinary, painting, embroidery and many others. After a huge success of 2017 Serendipity Arts Festival, the SAF team has not looked back. A large number of audiences attended the SAF 2018 and 2019 in Goa. The multi-disciplinary project gave people the chance to explore creativity and creative artists. The 2020 SAF was a virtual event. Though it was virtual, it was as grand as 2018 and 2019 SAF. Multiple projects had featured. Audiences and participants from every corner of the world became witness of the event.
