Steps to set up Microsoft 365 to outlook 2016

• Go to the control panel.
• Click the Mail option. A Mail setup dialogue box will appear.
• Click the Show profile option and click yes on the mail dialogue box.
• Type Microsoft 365 on the new profile dialogue box and click ok.
• A Add new account dialogue box will open select the Manual configuration option.
• Click next.
• Now select the Microsoft Exchange server option from the next window And click next.
• On the server, the box enters the Outlook.office365.com, and on the user, the name box enters the Microsoft 365 email address.
• Click the More settings button.
• On the Microsoft Exchange window select the Security tab and uncheck the box under Encryption.
• Click the box under Logon Network Security and from the drop-down menu select “Anonymous Authentication”.
• Now select the Connection tab and check the connection to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP Exchange click the Exchange Proxy setting button.
• An Exchange proxy window will open, on the connection setting box enter Outlook.office365.com.
• Check the “only connect to a proxy server that has this principal name in their certificate” box and enter msstd:outlook.com.

• Under proxy authentication, the setting chooses Basic Authentication and clicks Ok.
• Now on the next window select Check name and enter the Microsoft 365 email address and click Ok.
• If asked then enter your username and password of office 365.

• Now go back to the Mail dialogue box and select Always use this profile and click ok.
• Now open your Outlook and your new profile will open with sync to office 365.
